FAO is preparing the third report on the state of the world’s animal genetic resources for food and agriculture, which is based on data and information on the state of the world’s animal genetic resources. Data and information are provided by the national coordinators of different countries. In this regard, FAO organized a regional capacity building workshop on April 24 in the Cyprus (Nicosia) to support the national coordinators responsible for collecting data and filling out questionnaires at the national level.
The above workshop was held simultaneously with the ERFP/EAAP Mediterranean workshop and the second EAAP (European Animal Science Federation) regional meeting for the Mediterranean region from April 24 to 26.
